Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls from providers, members, and health plans, addressing a wide range of topics, from benefit information to problem resolution. As a key member of our Customer Service-Clinical department, you will utilize your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to provide timely and accurate responses to our customers. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional, accurate, and courteous manner Communicate effectively with callers, ascertainment the nature of the call, and record information in our proprietary systems Utilize online resources and proprietary systems to provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries Manage your time efficiently to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up is done in a timely manner Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment, adhering to all legal and compliance requirements Complete all required trainings and attend weekly staff meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel Respond to requests from internal and external customers, as required, and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in customer service, preferably in an inbound call center environment. You should have basic computer skills, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to utilize and maneuver in multiple systems during a single interaction.
