Job Overview As a Clinical Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our Customer Service-Clinical department. Your primary responsibility will be to answer incoming calls from providers, members, and health plans, addressing a wide range of topics, from benefit information to problem resolution. You will be working remotely from the comfort of your own home, utilizing company-provided technology equipment, and participating in online meetings via video conferencing. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner Communicate professionally at all times, both verbally and in writing Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in our proprietary systems Look up caller information using our proprietary systems and provide information to the caller Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department Utilize appropriate resources, including online resources, to provide timely responses Manage your time effectively to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up is done in a timely manner Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all legal and compliance requirements Complete all required trainings in a timely manner and attend weekly staff meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork Respond to requests from internal and external customers and/or clients as required Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience performing customer service duties, with inbound call center experience preferred Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize and maneuver in multiple systems during a single interaction Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally at all times Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare-related concepts Experience working with proprietary systems and software applications Bilingual or multilingual skills Core Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following core competencies: The ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships Excellent customer service skills to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment The ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions The ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions The ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
