About Our Client and the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist for our German Desk, supporting a leading B2B e-commerce platform that specializes in tools, industrial supplies, and workplace equipment for trades and businesses. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the face of our client's company, providing top-notch support to their customers across several European markets. Your Future Responsibilities As a Customer Support Specialist, your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by resolving all inbound and outbound support requests according to our internal guidelines. Your responsibilities will include: Resolving customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner Escalating tickets to mentors and team leaders when necessary to ensure prompt resolution Providing feedback on processes and ideas to improve customer satisfaction and contribute to the continuous improvement of our support services Participating in special tasks, such as social media support and reputation management, for experienced agents looking to take on additional challenges Collaborating with your colleagues to achieve team goals and share knowledge to enhance our support services Essential Experience and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: Proficiency in the German language, as well as fluency in English at a B2 level or higher Excellent multitasking abilities to manage multiple support requests simultaneously Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with customer support software Independence and self-motivation to manage your time effectively and work with minimal supervision A positive and customer-focused attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional support experiences Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in customer support, preferably in a B2B e-commerce environment Knowledge of additional European languages, such as French, Spanish, or Italian Experience with social media support and reputation management Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, as well as experience with content management systems What We Offer At blithequark, we believe in providing our employees with a supportive and dynamic work environment that fosters growth and development.
