About the Role: Customer Service Associate As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be the friendly face that puts the 'Wow' in our customer experience. You'll be responsible for greeting and serving our customers, preparing food items, operating the cash register, and ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and clean. You'll be an integral part of our team, working together to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that makes every customer feel valued and appreciated. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously, providing a personalized and exceptional customer experience. Prepare food items such as breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas, as well as keeping our coffee station clean and organized. Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products. Ensure our stores are well-stocked and that our shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting, maintaining a high level of store presentation and organization. Help keep our stores clean and safe by following all established policies, procedures, and guidelines, contributing to a positive and healthy work environment. Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more, taking pride in the appearance and maintenance of our stores. Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you'll need to have great communication and customer service skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro. You must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation and enjoy working in a team environment. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a cash register, with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time, demonstrating a commitment to physical and mental well-being. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 - $18.75, commensurate with position, experience, and location. Associates in this position will also receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.
