About the Role blithequark is seeking a passionate and customer-centric professional to join our growing Customer Experience Team as a remote Customer Experience Associate. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about our innovative marketplace and provide exceptional experiences for our hosts and guests. As the front line to our users, our team drives revenue, impacts product development through customer insights, and makes a tangible difference in the success of blithequark. The position involves working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm PST, with a rotation of two weekend days per month. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for users, addressing inquiries from onboarding hosts to recommending locations and services to guests, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience. Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service via all contact channels (phone, email, live chat, social media, etc.) to blithequark hosts and guests, fostering a positive and loyal community. Demonstrate self-discipline, productivity, and the ability to accomplish job duties effectively in a remote work environment, leveraging technology and resources to stay connected and motivated. Independently manage a queue of tasks, focusing on process improvements and identifying opportunities to surprise and delight our hosts and guests with exceptional service. Analyze trends and actively contribute suggestions for process and product improvements, helping to shape the future of blithequark's customer experience. Essential Qualifications A genuine passion for problem-solving and interacting with customers, with a customer-centric approach and empathy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, grammar, and the ability to articulate complex information clearly. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including hosts, guests, and internal teams. Comfortable asking for support when needed and prioritizing tasks across competing demands, demonstrating adaptability and resilience. Able to quickly learn new technologies and systems, with a keen interest in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty across broad functional areas and geographies. A sense of humor and enjoyment in working collaboratively with others, contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture. Preferred Qualifications Previous successful customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Intercom, and experience with crafting online help resources. Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform customer experience strategies. Experience with third-party marketplaces, such as Airbnb or VRBO, and an understanding of the sharing economy.
