About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Customer Experience Representative (CXR) to join our team at blithequark. As a CXR, you will play a critical role in delivering superior, friendly, and efficient transactions, offering company-approved services and products to provide a positive experience for all customers. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the rental process, verifying and documenting driver information, and ensuring an efficient and timely rental and return experience. Key Responsibilities Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, setting the tone for a positive and memorable experience. Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services, including offering optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment. Offer additional customer assistance by providing directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information, demonstrating a genuine interest in meeting the needs of our customers. Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, and provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors, ensuring prompt and effective communication. Place outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous calls as assigned, following up with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in assessing the condition of rental vehicles upon return, notifying Management of any known customer problems, vehicle issues, or required maintenance, and taking proactive steps to resolve any concerns. Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursuing on-the-job training and development opportunities, as well as company-sponsored classroom training, to enhance your performance and contribute to the growth of our team. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Be at least 18 years old, with a High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Have a minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Hold a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on your driving record in the past 3 years, ensuring your ability to safely operate our vehicles. Be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by blithequark for this position now or in the future. Be available to work the following shifts/schedules: Sunday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Wednesday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Friday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Saturday: 4:00pm - 12:00am or Sunday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Monday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Friday: 4:00pm - 12:00am, Saturday: 4:00pm - 12:00am Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in the rental car industry or a related field, with knowledge of rental procedures and protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that meet the needs of our customers and our business. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
