About the Role As a Customer Service Team Lead at blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive world-class support and fostering a positive team culture. You will lead and motivate a team of 8 offshore customer support representatives, develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, and collaborate with other departments to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 8 offshore customer support representatives to deliver exceptional service and achieve team goals. Customer Support: Directly handle complex customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Performance Management: Monitor team performance, set goals, and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the team, and implement changes to drive results. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Problem-Solving: Analyze customer issues and implement effective solutions to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. Product Evangelism: Help customers and partners use blithequark products to change the way local businesses connect with their community, and provide feedback to drive product development. Essential Qualifications A natural people person and relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passionate about serving small businesses and being part of a growing startup, with a strong desire to make a positive impact. Tech-savvy and able to quickly pick up sales/support tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, and Confluence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Friendly, optimistic, and caring demeanor, with a strong customer-centric approach. Adept at working well under pressure and with tight deadlines, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks. Experienced in customer service or customer support, including phone, email, and/or chat, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations. Preferred Qualifications Experience in leading or managing a team, with a proven track record of driving team success and growth. Knowledge of the floral or food industry, with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by small businesses in these sectors. Experience with CRM software and data analysis, with the ability to drive insights and recommendations from data. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
