Our Data Enablement team is a critical part of our business, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Data Steward to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** As a Senior Manager, Data Steward, you will be responsible for: * Understanding, articulating, interpreting, and applying the principles of our defined strategy to unique, moderately complex business problems that may span multiple functions or domains. * Identifying suitable data sources, performing data quality checks, establishing and implementing data governance practices, managing data quality issues, and maintaining master data and metadata. * Providing recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues, developing business cases for projects, and translating business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks aligned with the overall business strategy. * Contributing to the expansion and governance of blithequark's AI data agents, including Wally, by designing and implementing trusted, scalable data strategies that enhance transparency, accuracy, and user experience. **Impact** As a Senior Manager, Data Steward, you will have a significant impact on our business, driving data-enabled insights and decisions that will help us to better serve our customers and drive business growth. You will be working closely with data providers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that our data assets are accurate, reliable, and relevant, and that our data-enabled insights and decisions are aligned with our business strategy. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A strong understanding of the business context, including industry and environmental factors, business practices, and relevant business metrics. * Foundational practical knowledge of data governance, compliance, and stewardship best practices. * Knowledge in analytics, big data analytics, and automation techniques, as well as a solid understanding of business requirements and insights. * A growth mindset, welcoming constructive feedback, actively pursuing learning opportunities, and viewing setbacks as a natural part of innovation and continuous improvement. * Up-to-date expertise and the ability to apply it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. * Experience in eComm analytics or online pickup and delivery performance measurement. * Experience with customer insight analysis or working with Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, Experian, 1010, etc. **Preferred Qualifications** A certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis, or a degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Information Systems, or Statistics, would be an asset. **Work Environment and Culture** blithequark is a fast-paced and agile development environment, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Data Steward who is able to work effectively in this environment.
