As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, resolving exceptions, and providing exceptional customer service to our customers. Your expertise will help us to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform data entry tasks, including patient registration, prescription requests, and order processing * Resolve exceptions and errors in a timely and efficient manner * Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues * Troubleshoot and resolve missing prescription information and medical abbreviations (SIG codes) * Enter top-off orders for processing and handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines * Identify and communicate issues to senior team members as necessary * Acquire active technician license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active technician license or certification **Task Duties** * Utilize Walgreens prescription information access strategies and suggestions to register new patients with the aid of entering information into suitable systems * Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter top-off orders for processing * Troubleshoot to attain missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes) * Resolve all data entry associated exceptions * Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed * Resolve 1/3 party rejects by reviewing, gathering facts, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan needs * Make phone calls to insurers and others to achieve information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve the 1/3 party rejects * Provide assistance to pharmacists, both those inside the facility and those at different locations * Identify and communicate troubles to senior team members as necessary **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent * Fundamental degree computer capabilities (e.g., start up and shut down laptop, use mouse to click and drag, start and close applications, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or access information online) * Primary level Google competencies to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct area, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online * Intermediate level keyboarding capabilities (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting files) * Speak effectively in writing and verbally * 18 years of age or older **Preferred Qualifications** * At least 365 days of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment * At least 18 months experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration via nation as granted by the state board of pharmacy or nationally recognized certification corporation * Experience providing customer support to internal and external clients, including assembling pleasant standards for offerings, and assessment of customer pride * Intermediate to superior level keyboarding abilities (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting files) * Fluency in Spanish and English **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite * Strong keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM) **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
