As we continue to grow and expand our services, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences to our Hungarian-speaking clients. About the Role As a Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling customer contacts, resolving issues, and providing top-notch support to our clients. Your decisions and actions will have a direct impact on our customers and our product, and you will be working in a fast-paced, friendly, and professional team with a lot of autonomy and minimal bureaucracy. You will have the freedom to share ideas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a lasting impact on our organization. Key Responsibilities Answer customer questions and solve problems that come in across various contact channels, including email, chat, and phone. Handle formal complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Review payment transactions and solve related customer problems, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for our clients. Assist with other operational and KYC tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our team. Collaborate with other team members and escalate tasks to relevant stakeholders as needed, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support. Measuring Success Talk to customers, answer their questions, and solve problems that come in across various contact channels, providing exceptional customer service and support. Be the voice of the customer and translate their needs into actionable plans, supported by thorough analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, and Engineering. Drive process and product improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance our products and streamline operations, delivering better outcomes for our customers and contributing to the growth and success of blithequark. Building Support Features Create and update FAQs, ensuring that our customers have access to accurate and up-to-date information. Build and maintain a knowledge base, providing a valuable resource for our customers and internal teams. Improve automations like quick replies and contact attribution, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our support processes. Requirements Exceptional written and spoken English – you will need to interact with customers via email and potentially chats/phone in the future. C2/Bilingual proficiency in Hungarian – you will be working with Hungarian-speaking clients and providing support in their native language. 1+ years of experience within Customer Support/Customer Operations – you will need to have a solid understanding of customer support principles and practices. Empathy for customer problems and a drive to solve their issues – you will need to be able to understand and relate to our customers' needs and concerns. You are a quick learner – you will need to be able to adapt to new processes, tools, and technologies, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong communicator and able to work across teams and functions – you will need to be able to collaborate with internal teams, communicate effectively with customers, and provide clear and concise feedback. Computer literacy – you will need to be comfortable using various tools and technologies, including our internal systems and software. Basic SQL is not required but would be advantageous – you will need to have a basic understanding of data analysis and querying, and be able to learn and adapt to new systems and tools. Having an understanding of investment services or experience in a startup environment are pluses – you will need to have a solid understanding of the fintech industry and be able to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a startup.
