Job Overview The Customer Success Engineer at blithequark will serve as the technical powerhouse and strategic partner behind our most complex customer relationships. This hybrid role combines technical depth with white-glove client service, requiring the skills of a senior Customer Success Manager, Solution Engineer, and Technical Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be able to break down an API integration, lead an Executive Business Review, and troubleshoot a device install, all while keeping the customer engaged, confident, and loyal. The mission of this role is to deliver scalable outcomes, drive adoption and value realization, and bring clarity to complexity in the high-stakes world of commercial vehicle telematics. Key Responsibilities Own a portfolio of technically complex, high-value customers, driving adoption, retention, and expansion through strategic customer success and retention strategies. Partner with executives and power users to design programs that deliver measurable ROI and safety outcomes, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers. Conduct value-driven Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and lead strategic roadmap discussions to align our solutions with customer goals and objectives. Identify risk and proactively intervene through solutioning, optimization, and internal escalation leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and success. Act as a subject matter expert on the full blithequark solution stack, including software, hardware, integrations, and APIs, translating technical capabilities into business value across various personas. Lead proof-of-concept deployments and assist with pre-sales technical discussions as needed to drive sales growth and customer adoption. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope and communicate product enhancements based on customer needs, ensuring that our solutions remain innovative and effective. Assist with complex post-sales deployments, especially those involving integrations, large fleets, or custom configurations, to ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A strong technical background, with experience in software, hardware, integrations, and APIs, particularly in the context of commercial vehicle telematics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with executives, power users, and technical stakeholders. Proven experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving adoption, retention, and expansion. Ability to think strategically, with a strong understanding of business operations, safety outcomes, and ROI metrics. Experience with API integrations, proof-of-concept deployments, and technical support, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
