We are committed to building a healthy, life-giving culture that invests in the next generation and raises up strong leaders Job Summary The Outreach Director provides visionary, pastoral, and operational leadership for all local and global outreach efforts of Revere Church. This role oversees missions, community engagement, and volunteer mobilization to ensure that Revere is effectively reaching people with the love of Jesus both locally and globally. The Outreach Director will develop systems, partnerships, and teams that expand Revere’s impact through strategic events, mission trips, and service opportunities. This individual will foster a culture of compassion, generosity, and gospel-centered engagement while equipping others to serve and lead with excellence. Key Responsibilities Global Missions Strategy & Leadership • Provide vision and direction for Revere Church’s global and local outreach strategy • Identify, develop, and maintain partnerships with global ministries, organizations, and church planters • Serve as the primary liaison and pastoral support for international partners through communication, visits, and prayer • Oversee the missions budget, ensuring faithful stewardship and alignment with Revere’s values • Lead global and local missions teams, developing leadership pipelines for trip planning, training, and execution Local Outreach Oversight • Develop and sustain relationships with key local ministry partners such as pregnancy centers, rescue missions, and foster/adopt ministries • Organize and oversee outreach events such as food drives, community serve days, and special projects • Mobilize the congregation to serve the local community through ongoing volunteer opportunities and church-wide initiatives • Research and propose new outreach partnerships for leadership review and approval Mobilization & Team Development • Recruit, train, and develop leaders and volunteers for outreach and missions initiatives • Equip the congregation to serve locally and globally through training, communication, and clear pathways of involvement • Lead pre-trip training and post-trip debriefs for missions participants • Create and oversee a volunteer missions team to assist with outreach operations and mobilization Pastoral Care & Partner Support • Provide ongoing pastoral care, encouragement, and prayer support for global partners and their families • Collaborate with Communications and Creative teams to share mission stories, prayer needs, and impact updates • Visit mission sites and global partners periodically to ensure relationship strength and accountability Administration & Communication • Maintain accurate records of outreach partnerships, involvement, and giving • Develop and publish an annual outreach and events calendar in alignment with church-wide priorities • Ensure all outreach events adhere to safety, security, and operational excellence standards • Collaborate with other departments to integrate outreach into discipleship, prayer, and worship culture Culture & Team Development • Uphold Revere’s culture of hospitality, creativity, and excellence • Build and empower teams within Outreach and Special Events to operate with ownership and initiative • Conduct regular evaluations and post-event debriefs with staff and volunteers to measure impact and identify improvements • Develop leaders spiritually and professionally through mentorship and intentional investment Success MetricsCultural & Missional Impact • Revere is recognized as a church that actively serves and loves the community • Outreach events and mission trips consistently align with Revere’s vision and values • Volunteers are engaged, equipped, and inspired to live missionally in everyday life • Global and local partners feel supported, prayed for, and connected to the Revere community Operational Metrics • Increase congregational participation in outreach events by 50% year over year • Maintain 90%+ communication and support consistency with all global partners • Launch and sustain at least 4 annual community serve days (Impact SoCal) engaging 500+ participants • Provide recorded debriefs for every outreach or special event within 24 hours • Develop and maintain a complete database of volunteers with 100% accuracy and ongoing updates • Deliver all outreach events on time, within budget, and with measurable impact • Convert 70% of first-time outreach volunteers into ongoing service teams within 6 weeks QualificationsRequired • Proven experience in outreach, event planning, or volunteer leadership • Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills • Ability to recruit, train, and empower leaders and volunteers • Spiritual maturity and alignment with Revere Church’s mission, vision, and values • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation ministry environment • Collaborative and adaptable leadership style with a heart for service What We’re Looking For • Strive for excellence • Prioritize clear communication • Adaptable and solution-oriented • Teachable spirit • Team player and culture builder • High follow-through and organizational capacity • Professional and approachable demeanor • Energetic, engaging, and faith-driven leader • Ability to pivot quickly and lead through change
