About the Role We're looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Success Manager to join our team in Japan. As a key member of our Customer Success team, you will provide our business customers with a first-class experience, driving maximum value against their requirements, and ensuring a strong account health score. You will be instrumental in helping define our customer success motion, meaningfully shaping our future product, and driving business revenue, all while having a blast doing it! The Japan region is one of the most important markets for us, and we're excited to have you on board to help us drive growth and adoption. As an early member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of our customer success organization. Key Responsibilities Drive adoption and expansion for a large portfolio of customers in Japan: You'll host onboarding, training, and working sessions to educate our customers and dig deep into new use cases of blithequark. Design and run at-scale Customer Success programs: You’ll create and publish digital resources to help our customers maximize their opportunity with blithequark. Help build the foundations of Customer Success at blithequark: As an early member of our sales/success team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our sales-assisted motions. Meaningfully shape our future product: As you engage with customers, you'll gain insights to help us serve them better — and work with product to inform what we do next. Elevate your skills as we tackle our most impactful challenges: We've achieved more than teams 10x our size in less time — and there's so much more to do and learn. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of experience at a fast-growing software company A track record of success in your current Customer Success or Account Management role Experience managing a large volume of accounts A growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nascent team Motivated by seeing others succeed and grow when you partner with them Highly adaptable, easily acclimating to a rapidly changing business and industry Love getting to know new people and helping them solve their business problems Native-level Japanese and business-level English language skills Preferred Qualifications Experience building Customer Success playbooks or processes Experience in scaled program management, or building adoption campaigns Experience using blithequark Curious about data and insights, and have used Salesforce and Gainsight before First or early hire at a fast-growing startup before Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and competencies, including: Strategic thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on driving long-term customer success and revenue growth.
