About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Support Specialist to join our team in a remote call center capacity. As a CPC Processor Customer Support specialist, you will play a critical role in processing medical record requests, providing exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys, and ensuring the seamless flow of information. This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, in a high-volume production environment that requires comfort with multitasking and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Process medical record requests via inbound calls, providing timely and accurate status updates to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys. Document information efficiently in multiple platforms, utilizing two computer monitors to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, to manage and analyze data effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Participate in comprehensive training programs, including onsite/virtual training and job shadowing with an assigned mentor, to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Essential qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or call center environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide clear, concise information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software applications. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Preferred qualifications include experience with medical records, knowledge of healthcare regulations, and certifications in customer service or a related field.
