Job Overview The Load Out Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that customer trucks are loaded efficiently and accurately, while providing a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers and truckers. This role requires a unique blend of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers at all times, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. Ensure that the phone is answered in a friendly and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service and support. Minimize customer/trucker wait times by quickly and efficiently loading trucks, while ensuring that all loads meet our high standards of quality and accuracy. Fill trucks to specified weights and weight splits in accordance with customer/trucker wishes and DOT regulations, ensuring compliance and safety. Monitor dust control levels to ensure every load meets the specified gallons per ton, and take corrective action as needed to ensure that all customers have an excellent quality experience. Follow all process steps to fulfill customer orders in the system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Perform additional paperwork and activities to support the operations, including daily production spreadsheet entry and receiving for purchase orders. Keep office area breakrooms and restrooms clean and organized, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Good people skills and patience required, with previous customer service experience preferred. Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, truckers, and colleagues. Good typing skills and computer literate, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of DOT regulations and industry standards. Experience with inventory management and logistics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
