About the Role We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative who is fluent in Dutch and English to join our team on an interim basis. This is a fixed-term 8 or 7-month contract, with possible extension depending on performance and business needs. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to engage and delight our broad variety of customers (Sellers and Buyers) by solving complex challenges and managing disputes and complaints. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their queries and resolving issues in a correct and timely manner via diverse channels (chat, email, phone, social media). Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to our Sellers and Buyers, ensuring that their queries are addressed and resolved in a timely and professional manner. Mediate between customers and find solutions that work for both parties in the event of a dispute. Work closely with our Sales and Expert teams to improve the overall Customer Experience and provide valuable feedback on possibilities for improvements in our services. Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, providing excellent customer support and finding fitting solutions to all problems in a patient and empathetic way. Switch between various customer channels like phone and email communications, and interact positively with your team and other departments. Essential Qualifications Professional speaking and writing skills in Dutch and English; strong communication skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Previous experience in a customer service environment or a customer-related role (hospitality, tourism, retail, call-center, etc.). Ability to quickly switch between various customer channels like phone and email communications. Ability to positively interact with your team and other departments. Available to work 40 hours per week. Willing to commute to our Lisbon office and work in the office at least 2 days per week. Flexible with working at least 2 weekends a month and on some public holidays. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of customer service software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive Annual Gross Base Salary of 18,000€-23,000€ depending on your level, competencies, and overall experience.
