As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of our industry. **Key Responsibilities:** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * Responding to customer inquiries regarding products, providing quotes, and handling order entry in a timely and professional manner * Placing customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales) while influencing gross profit through negotiating sale prices and purchase prices within certain parameters * Building customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to customers and driving process improvements * Ordering items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers * Determining the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders * Partnering with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction * Expediting backorders and handling customer returns as needed * Performing other duties as assigned by management **Essential Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Zero to three years of related experience in customer service or a related field * Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills * Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively * Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, and using business systems * Product knowledge is preferred, but not required **Preferred Qualifications:** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Previous experience in a customer-facing role * Knowledge of our products and services * Experience with order management systems and inventory control * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills **Skills and Competencies:** To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate: * Reliability, organization, and attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Moderate computer skills, including information processing and business systems * Product knowledge and ability to learn new products and services quickly **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
