Photo Art Director (Remote)
Job Summary In the Photography Art Director role, you will be responsible for leading the creative development of projects from conception through post-production. • Partner with Planners, Producers, Product Marketing and Creatives to develop compelling WW content briefs that align with yearly product and campaign roadmaps and overall communication strategies. • Expert ability to direct the development of well-conceived, innovative creative content work that implements the content strategy and brief. This includes the ability to create compelling and concise presentations that have been thoughtfully and beautifully designed. • Participate in creative reviews to ensure content is on brief and the narrative is integrated across all marketing materials. • Ability to create briefs and communicate effectively with creative partners, business affairs and other members of the brand team. • Excellent ability to direct photo shoots in order to create compelling and aspirational photography for a multitude of deliverables. Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following industries: editorial, design, advertising, marketing, brand management, photography and/or new media communication. • Professional portfolio showcasing photography art direction. • Strong design, presentation (both visual and verbal), and communication skills culminating in the ability to sell ideas through and defend work to various stakeholders. • Ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines simultaneously in an organized manner. • Collaborates well with both internal and external partners with a strong desire to continuously seek out new diverse creative partners (photographers, stylists, etc). • Approach problems flexibly and with a willingness to adapt in order to arrive at the best solution while remaining resourceful and proactive in finding solutions while maintaining a positive and collaborative spirit. • Extremely detail oriented with extraordinary follow-through skills. • Passion for photography with the knowledge of a wide range of photographers, types of photography, and photographic trends – both past and current. • In depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process, including providing clear communication and creative direction and giving timely and helpful feedback to improve creative solutions. • See around corners to ensure awareness of bigger problems and opportunities ahead with the willingness to propose possible solutions.
