Recently, my kitten passed away due to FPV (feline panleukopenia) just 90 hours after I brought it home from an irresponsible pet breeder. They separated the kitten from its mother too early, didn’t vaccinate it to save costs and boost profits, and exposed the kittens to risky public environments too soon, putting them at a high risk of infection. This is my first time raising a cat, and also my first time learning about FPV (feline panleukopenia), a deadly virus for cats. When I brought the kitten home, I overlooked the possibility that, after spending a long time in a crowded open space, the kitten might have already been infected. This was my negligence, and I do not deny it. As the kitten’s owner, I did everything I could to care for and love this cat — the medical treatment, the cremation — for god’s sake. But the breeder is keep doing the same marketing strategy around Jabotabek area. I’m deeply worried about the remaining kittens from this breeder and want to take action to prevent other cat lovers from feeling the same heartbreak and pain. I need your help to raise awareness about this irresponsible breeder via social media and I will provide the solid evidence (photos, death report, etc), thank you.
