Key Responsibilities:
As a Manager of Technical Recruiting at Smartsheet, you will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters and supporting full-cycle recruiting efforts across various departments, including Product Management, Experience Design, Business Intelligence, and Marketing. Your primary objectives will be to:
- Manage and prioritize hiring for multiple departments, with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Hire, train, and mentor new recruiters to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel
- Provide guidance, support, and career development opportunities to team members to help them grow and succeed
- Ensure recruiters are meeting hiring metrics and delivering exceptional candidate experiences
- Develop and implement creative and scalable solutions to drive hiring and meet business goals
- Partner with hiring managers to provide data-driven recommendations for sourcing and hiring strategies
- Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and interviewers, providing consultative advice and expertise
- Lead by example, setting and sharing recruiting best practices across the organization
- Participate in ad-hoc Talent Acquisition projects and contribute to the development of innovative recruiting strategies
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a mix of corporate and agency experience
- 3+ years of experience in people management and mentorship, managing recruiters or recruiting coordinators in the software or tech industry
- Experience consulting and managing clients, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support
- Proven track record of closing senior or executive-level candidates with complex compensation packages
- Experience managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Greenhouse
- Strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including hiring managers and interviewers
- Demonstrated personal accountability and integrity, with a focus on delivering results and driving impact
- Experience solving complex problems, designing creative strategies, and delivering innovative solutions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
