About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Mental Health Counselor licensed in the state of Florida to join our growing team of professionals. This part-time, fully remote, contract position offers the flexibility to maintain a schedule that works for you, allowing you to set your hours and work at your own pace. As a remote therapist, you will provide high-quality virtual therapy services to clients, guiding them through their mental health journeys and making a positive impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling and support services to clients via secure videoconferencing on our telehealth platform, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health conditions, staying up-to-date with the latest research and methodologies in the field.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and regulations, ensuring seamless communication with our team of healthcare professionals.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current and unrestricted LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist, or equivalent license in Florida, with independent licensure and any other credentials required at hire or negotiated for employment.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy services, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Continual maintenance of CEUs for licensing, certificates, or credentialing, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
- An active NPI number, with a Medicare number preferred, and eligibility to participate in federally funded healthcare programs as required by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems, with a strong understanding of how technology can enhance medical care.
- Reliable, high-speed internet, a computer with webcam and microphone, familiarity with teleconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom), and a private space in your home or office to welcome clients virtually.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, grammar, attention to detail, and efficiency in writing medical information at a patient level, with a strong ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

- Hourly rate: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour, with biweekly payments and a guarantee of payment even if a client no-shows, cancels at the last minute, or if an insurance claim is denied.
