Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and qualified adjunct professor to teach courses for our Doctor of Business Administration Program. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home in Wichita, Kansas, or any other location.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach courses appropriate to your academic qualifications, including but not limited to BSAD 9211 - Strategic Allocation of Financial Resources and BSAD 9213 - Quality Management and Productivity
- Demonstrate proficiency in online and face-to-face learning environments, utilizing the Learning Management System, Canvas, and other technology as appropriate
- Inform students of their progress by promptly returning graded assignments, quizzes, and examinations with constructive feedback
- Submit mid-term and final grades on Jet Stream by designated deadlines
- Report performance assessment data as required or requested
- Consult with the Dean or Assistant Dean of the School of Business regarding concerns or issues that may arise
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this adjunct position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- An earned Doctoral degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) or Marketing
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions
- Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with university faculty and staff, students, and the general public
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and coworkers
