About Delta Airlines and the Operations and Customer Center (OCC) Delta Airlines is a leading global airline with a rich history of innovation and customer satisfaction. The Operations and Customer Center (OCC) is the nerve center of Delta's operations, responsible for strategic and tactical decision-making for any operational disruption in their global network. As a Customer Care Representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that works around the clock to ensure the airline's operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Assist the Operations and Customer Center (OCC) team in making strategic and tactical decisions to resolve operational disruptions. Work with aviation experts to analyze data and solve complex business problems. Be assigned to one of the following teams: Load Control Center: responsible for aircraft weight and balance, fuel distribution, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company specifications. Fuel Strategy: responsible for developing strategy, tools, and sustainability policy for $14 billion in annual jet fuel consumed by the airline. Develop new skills and abilities, and be willing to take on new challenges and learn from experiences. Collaborate with colleagues, maintaining a team-first mentality with the outcome of your team as the top priority. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A four-year degree in Software Engineering, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field. Availability to work for three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM schedule. Enrollment with an educational institution throughout the term of the co-op program. Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work in both team and individual settings. A commitment to making safety and security the top priority. Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles. A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. At least 18 years old and authorization to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications To give you a competitive edge, you'll ideally have: Familiarity with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with airline operations, scheduling, and planning. A history of seeking leadership positions, including student and community associations. A passion for a future career in the aviation industry and serving Delta's customers.
