Front End Web Developer
Primary Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Collaborate with Brand, Product, QA, Analytics, and stakeholder teams to gather requirements and communicate progress. • Build responsive and adaptive website applications aligned with UX/UI best practices. • Work within an Agile team environment — estimating, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining features while participating in sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives. • Participate in technical design discussions and help define front-end architecture, perform code reviews, and conduct unit testing. • Follow style guides, pattern libraries, and SDLC processes to maintain consistency and quality. • Collaborate with other front-end developers to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. • Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO to deliver the best user experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • 3–5 years of hands-on experience building websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Strong understanding of CSS and JavaScript best practices and performance optimization techniques. • Proven ability to create responsive, cross-browser, and accessibility-compliant (WCAG) applications. • Experience using modern frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js • Familiarity with Node.js, npm, or Deno is a plus. • Experience with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket for code management and collaboration. • Basic understanding of state management tools (e.g., Redux or similar). • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. • Proficient in browser debugging using Chrome Developer Tools. • Exposure to build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar. • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across business, design, UX, and QA teams. Experience & Qualifications • Hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), and CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS, or CSS Modules). • Experience using JIRA for task management is preferred. • Previous retail or e-commerce experience is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Visual Communication preferred; Master’s degree is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
