Key Responsibilities As a virtual customer service representative for blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Responding to inbound phone calls, chats, and emails from customers in a professional and courteous manner Providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns Utilizing strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues Maintaining a friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor in all customer interactions Working independently in a quiet and secure home office environment with minimal distractions Meeting and exceeding performance metrics and client expectations Schedule and Work Environment At blithequark, we understand the importance of work-life balance and flexibility. As a virtual customer service representative, you will have the opportunity to create a schedule that works best for you, with the majority of work hours taking place during weekdays and daytime. You will also be required to have a dedicated home office space that meets our technology and equipment requirements, including: A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted) A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity An operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS) Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app Earnings and Revenue As an independent contractor for blithequark, your contract earnings will vary by client, with rates ranging from $14 to $20 per hour. Your pay will be determined by your phone call status when assisting customers, and additional incentives will be available based on client and performance metrics. Contractual Relationship Please note that the relationship between you and blithequark is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment, and blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings. You will be required to agree to have no claim against blithequark for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
