Job Overview As a remote customer service representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for interacting with customers primarily through inbound phone calls, as well as potentially through chat and email. Your goal will be to provide exceptional support, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and productive. The majority of available hours are during weekdays and daytime, with opportunities to choose hours that fit your lifestyle and preferences. Earnings and Revenue Your earnings as a remote customer service representative with blithequark will vary by client, ranging from $14 to $20 per hour. Revenue is determined by your phone status when assisting customers, and additional incentives may be available based on meeting blithequark and client minimum targets. This performance-based compensation structure rewards your hard work and dedication, providing opportunities for you to increase your earnings as you grow and develop in your role. Must-Have Skills for Success To be successful in this role, you will need to possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care. You should also have: Attention to detail, combined with strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively. A friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor to ensure that every customer interaction is positive and supportive. A self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Proficiency in using technology, including computer applications and software, to navigate our systems and tools with ease. Technology and Equipment Requirements To ensure that you have the necessary tools to succeed in this role, you will need to have access to the following technology and equipment: A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (please note that tablets, such as iPads, Amazon Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and Chromebooks, are not permitted). A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication. High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed for seamless connectivity (mobile home internet and Satellite internet service are not supported). An operating system of Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS), with Windows Defender Anti-Virus installed and active (other versions for AppleOS may be accepted). A smartphone for daily authentication. Please note that additional equipment may be required, depending on the specific client and their needs. We will provide you with detailed information on any additional requirements during the onboarding process. Work Environment Requirements To ensure that you can provide the best possible service to our customers, you will need to have a quiet and dedicated work area with no background noise. As an independent contractor, you will remain responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and other expenses. You will not be eligible for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, workers' compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
