About the Role This is a fully remote position within the central time zone, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Provider Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing support to healthcare providers, answering their questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Your goal will be to create a differentiated service experience, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of our products and services. Training and Development To ensure your success in this role, we offer a comprehensive training program that includes: 9 weeks of Benefit and Eligibility training, conducted virtually, with no PTO allowed during this period An additional 12 weeks of claims training, designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional support to our providers Our training program is designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to your needs, with a focus on developing your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities As a Provider Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: Answering incoming calls from providers, responding to their questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Researching issues using multiple applications to provide accurate and helpful information to our providers Providing customers with related information to answer their unasked questions, including plan details, benefit plan details, and provider self-service tools Maintaining department-established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level Working collaboratively as a team, applying the blithequark Core Values in day-to-day operations, and demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction Creating a differentiated service experience, demonstrating service discipline, and consistently delivering high-quality support to our providers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, with a proven ability to be empathetic and compassionate Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with providers and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Strong computer navigation and typing skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions A secure, private home office location with high-speed internet access (100 mbps or higher) and a consistent, reliable connection The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be comfortable with virtual training and communication methods Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment, with a strong understanding of healthcare terminology and concepts Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional support and building strong relationships with our providers Education A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience is required for this role. Anticipated Weekly Hours This is a full-time position, with anticipated weekly hours of 40 hours per week. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour, depending on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
