About the Position The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in enhancing the experience of our customers who contact us through various channels, including phone, email, live chat, and social media. As a key member of our Direct-to-Consumer team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional, solution-oriented, and personalized customer service that is consistent with our Sunshine Service guidelines and expectations. Your primary objectives will include delivering outstanding customer experiences, resolving escalated scenarios, and providing support to the Customer Service team during peak seasons and online sale events. Key Responsibilities Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and live chat in a prompt, accurate, and efficient manner Document and update customer records based on interactions Maintain a knowledge base of our evolving brand and products Listen and respond appropriately to customer concerns, placing online and/or telephone orders as needed Service and process e-commerce exchanges, manual returns, and exchanges resulting from retail purchases Locate items and complete sales for customers Respond to irate callers in a courteous and professional manner Perform other duties as assigned or required by supervisor Essential Qualifications 2 or 4-year degree in communications, retail merchandising, general studies, or a closely related subject (Bachelor's degree preferred) 1-3 years of previous customer service or call center experience 1-3 years of previous sales or retail experience Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with a positive attitude and engaging businesslike approach Ability to respond clearly and professionally to customer inquiries or complaints Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in using personal computers, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of transactions Ability to master our EREG POS system and other new systems as implemented Understanding of data flows and how stock levels and product data are captured and populated on our website Pleasant, friendly, and engaging speaking voice Exceptional "solution-oriented" nature and comfort in dealing with new technology and systems Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
