Our Customer Operations team is dedicated to providing exceptional support, running 24/7 with a team of approximately 400 people across various locations, including New York, Dublin, Portland, and a remote workforce. As a Customer Support Associate, you will be on the front lines, working closely with our customers every day to ensure that issues with their accounts are resolved in a timely and professional manner. About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Support Associate to join our team. This remote role reports to a Customer Support Team Lead and requires a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will leverage your system knowledge and passion for customer support to not only solve problems for our users but also be a positive advocate for our brand. Your first two weeks at blithequark will include mandatory virtual training, which will take place remotely in the Hawaii Timezone. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer-submitted live chats and emails in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with care and attention to detail. Manage queue-based, typing work, which will account for approximately 90% of the role, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. Utilize Live Chat as our primary channel of support, providing real-time assistance to customers and resolving issues efficiently. Troubleshoot and guide customers through questions and issues with their Account, Billing, Domain, or other transactional inquiries, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach. Independently meet targets across Quality, Productivity, and Customer Satisfaction in both email and live chat, consistently striving for excellence in all aspects of customer support. Stay up-to-date on new product features and improvements, applying this knowledge to provide accurate and helpful support to customers. Identify isolated customer experiences and escalate important issues to the relevant teams, ensuring that all customers receive the support they need. Who We're Looking For We are seeking candidates with a strong passion for customer support, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. To be successful in this role, you will need: Open availability to work a 40-hour workweek that spans weekends and holidays, as our customers need us. 1+ years of customer-facing experience in a similar role (retail, hospitality, online support), demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences. Expertise with written communication and the ability to spot spelling and grammar errors, ensuring that all customer interactions are professional and error-free. Proficiency with decoding conversations, identifying the cause, and aligning on end goals, allowing you to provide effective support and resolve issues efficiently. Capability of prioritizing competing requests, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the blithequark platform, or a willingness to learn and adapt quickly, is essential for success in this role. Consistent and dependable WiFi and a personal workspace that allows you to be free from distraction and fully customer-focused, ensuring that you can provide the highest level of support to our customers. Currently living in Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon, or Washington, as this role requires a specific geographic location. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
