About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Banking Specialist to join our onsite team in Fairforest, SC. As a key contributor to our customer service team, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing innovative solutions to ensure exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal disruption to the customer Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments, providing accurate and helpful information Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and data Provide feedback on call issues, contributing to continuous improvement and process enhancements Upsell products or services when required, identifying opportunities to add value to the customer and drive business growth Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School Diploma or equivalent IT/Network certifications/degrees preferred 18 years of age or older Proven call center experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service Typing speed of 25 WPM, with proficient PC operation and navigation skills Entry-level network troubleshooting skills, with the ability to set up home Wi-Fi networks and configure routers or switches Core proficiency with laptop or desktop computers, with excellent communications skills, both oral and written Ability to work independently, with strong listening skills and the ability to stay composed and objective in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment Knowledge of customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and helpdesk tools Certifications in customer service, such as CCNA or CCNP Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and act on customer feedback and insights Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner Problem-solving skills: ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions Customer service skills: passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty Technical skills: proficiency in PC operation and navigation, with basic knowledge of network troubleshooting and configuration Time management skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets Teamwork skills: ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
