Key Responsibilities Answer incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns in a timely and professional manner Evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution and customer satisfaction Build relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs, providing personalized support and promoting our products and services Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately, ensuring that all interactions are handled with care and attention to detail Promote interest in blithequark's products and services, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, and providing customers with relevant information and solutions Consistently achieve established standards of the position, meeting and exceeding performance metrics and contributing to the success of the Customer Care team Continually portray and project a positive and professional image, maintaining a high level of integrity and representing blithequark in a manner that aligns with our values and mission Provide administrative support to the customer service team, assisting with overflow work and other duties as needed, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a chat or call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and resolving customer issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management via phone, email, and live chat Technical savvy, with proficiency in computer systems, software applications, and technology-based tools, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes Highly independent, with the ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively, while also being a team player who is willing to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate customer interactions, identify issues, and escalate problems to the appropriate personnel Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in an e-commerce or client services environment, with a strong understanding of the industry and the needs of our customers Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools and technologies Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: The ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management via phone, email, and live chat Problem-solving skills: The ability to evaluate customer interactions, identify issues, and escalate problems to the appropriate personnel Technical skills: Proficiency in computer systems, software applications, and technology-based tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes Time management skills: The ability to work remotely and manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines Teamwork skills: The ability to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, and we offer a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits to help you succeed in your role and advance in your career.
