As a Customer Experience Agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling incoming customer service calls, resolving customer issues, and addressing billing inquiries, among other duties. Your role will be critical in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, making it an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. Research account status and identify account issues, utilizing your analytical skills to resolve problems efficiently. Address billing inquiries and resolve billing disputes, providing clear explanations and solutions to customers. Process disconnection and re-connection requests, ensuring that all regulatory requirements and company policies are adhered to. Enroll customers and resolve enrollment issues, providing a seamless onboarding experience. Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests, maintaining a customer-centric approach while ensuring compliance with policies. Serve as a customer advocate, listening to customer concerns and suggesting solutions that meet their needs, while adhering to all regulatory requirements and blithequark policies associated with the role. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base. Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal), ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and professional. Excellent listening skills, allowing you to understand customer concerns and provide tailored solutions. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers, de-escalating conflicts and providing resolutions. Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service, ensuring that all customer issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate complex customer issues and identify process improvements. Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations. Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications, facilitating efficient data management and analysis. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace, adapting to new processes and technologies with ease. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred, demonstrating your ability to handle high-volume customer interactions. Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred, providing a deeper understanding of the industry and its unique challenges. Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred, offering a broader perspective on customer service operations.
