The firm has a strong presence in the market and is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to its clients. Job Description • Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with strategic business objectives for the US market. • Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with key publications. • Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. • Collaborate with internal teams including to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. • Manage relationship with external agency ensuring deliverables and accountability on behalf of the department and firm. • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. • Manage and provide support to two team members within the PR department. • Collaborate and advise firm and practice leadership on strategic initiatives, sensitive communications and thought leadership. The Successful Applicant A successful Associate Director of PR should have: • 15+ years of proven expertise in public relations including legal & professional services experience. • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail. • Experience managing media relations and building relationships with journalists. • Proven ability to create and implement strategic PR campaigns. • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Previous people management experience is preferred. • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in legal PR and marketing. What's on Offer • Competitive salary $195,000 - $235,000 annually, depending on experience. • Bonus eligibility • Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) contributions. • 4 weeks PTO
