[Remote] Senior Communications Manager, Office of the Chief People Officer (OCPO)

As a Senior Communications Manager in the Office of the Chief People Officer, you will shape and deliver internal and external communications, drive storytelling initiatives, and support high-impact programs across various channels. Responsibilities • Understand and embody the CPO voice and brand, ensuring all communications reflect tone, priorities, and strategic objectives. • Create high-quality, audience-centric content and materials for internal and external communications – including briefing documents, keynote scripts, presentations, PR/media engagements, social media posts, and event messaging. Leverage current templates and continuously improve effectiveness. • Drive storytelling initiatives that elevate Microsoft’s people strategy and culture, leveraging multiple channels (events, blogs, videos, internal platforms). • Monitor and measure impact of communications and social engagement, using insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes. • Ensure quality and timeliness under pressure, consistently delivering results in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing results. • Stay ahead of trends in communications, social media, and employee engagement to bring innovative approaches to the OCPO communications strategy. • Embody our culture and live our values. Skills • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience; OR equivalent experience • 2+ years of experience supporting senior executives in an executive communications role • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience • OR equivalent experience • 3+ years specialized functional (e.g., retail, technology) experience • 3+ years experience working with social media platforms Company Overview • Microsoft is a software corporation that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells a range of software products and services.
