Agentic AI Process Implementation Consultant - Healthcare (Remote) We are seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in the healthcare domain and hands-on experience in implementing agentic AI solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation, improve patient outcomes, and optimize healthcare operations. This position requires a unique blend of domain knowledge, technical proficiency, and strategic vision to lead AI-driven initiatives within healthcare organizations. Key Responsibilities: • AI Strategy Development: Design and execute AI strategies tailored to healthcare settings, focusing on agentic AI systems that autonomously perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with users and environments. • Implementation Leadership: Lead the end-to-end implementation of agentic AI solutions, from requirements gathering and system design to deployment, monitoring, and optimization. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Business and IT teams, and external partners to ensure AI solutions align with claims, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. • Performance Evaluation: Develop and track metrics to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and ethical use of agentic AI systems in clinical and operational contexts. • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, healthcare trends, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance AI capabilities and impact. • Training & Education: Educate staff and stakeholders on agentic AI concepts, best practices, and change management to foster adoption and responsible use. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of working on technology-driven projects. • Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and managing agentic AI systems or autonomous AI agents within healthcare environments. • In-depth understanding of healthcare workflows, data standards (HL7, FHIR), and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, GDPR). • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, cloud platforms, and healthcare IT systems. • Commitment to ethical AI practices and patient-centered care. Preferred Skills • Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, or predictive analytics in healthcare applications. • Knowledge of agentic AI architectures, reinforcement learning, or multi-agent systems. • Prior involvement in digital transformation initiatives within health systems. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 - $170,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
