Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant (PT and FT) Remote
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant to join our finance team. This flexible full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple financial tasks accurately and efficiently. The assistant will support the accounting department by processing invoices, managing payments, and assisting with accounts reconciliation. Responsibilities Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Prepare and issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding payment issues. Support the finance team with reporting, audits, and other accounting tasks as needed. Required Skills Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Previous experience in accounts payable and/or receivable. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
