Virtual School Social Worker in NM
A full-semester contract is available for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide telehealth and onsite social work services within a K-12 itinerant school setting in Sedan, NM. The role supports a caseload of approximately 22 students, offering essential mental health and counseling services from Monday through Thursday for at least 20 hours per week. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering social work services via telehealth and in-person sessions. • Developing and implementing individualized support plans to address student social, emotional, and behavioral needs. • Collaborating with educators and families to promote student well-being and academic success. • Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines. • Managing an itinerant caseload with occasional travel between schools. Required qualifications: • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential. • Valid RLD (Restricted License in Social Work) and New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) license. • Active NPI (National Provider Identifier) and NM Medicaid numbers. • Experience working in K-12 educational settings is preferred. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong communication and organizational skills.
