Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
About the position Responsibilities • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, veterinary staff, consumers, sales personnel, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or mail. • Escalate calls to Technical Services Veterinarians as needed. • Support sales representatives by providing technical guidance, answering inquiries, and assisting at veterinary conferences. • Research topics, prepare reports, and participate in call analysis to identify trends or issues in product usage. • Comply with all company regulations and policies, maintaining a high standard of ethics and professionalism. • Report any violations or compliance issues immediately to management. Requirements • Associate Degree or higher in Life Sciences or Veterinary Technician field required. • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant and/or technician. • Strong customer service background with the ability to balance regulatory compliance with excellent service. • Proficient in veterinary practice issues and procedures. • Detail-oriented with strong technical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer tools. • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently, manage conflict, and operate under pressure with flexibility and initiative. Nice-to-haves • Prior experience in the animal health industry or regulatory compliance is a plus.
