RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse- 24 Hours Part Time
About the position Responsibilities • Receive and triage inbound calls to St. Elizabeth Physicians practices. • Provide medical triage using established protocols and guidance. • Schedule appointments for patients as indicated by protocols. • Collaborate with providers to ensure safe and effective patient care. • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA. • Ensure accurate information in the Electronic Health Record. • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff. • Contribute to the development of protocols and patient education. • Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities. Requirements • Valid Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN) license required. • Must obtain Ohio and Indiana RN licenses within 30 days of hire. • Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required. • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient nursing settings preferred. • Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EPIC) and Microsoft Office Suite. Nice-to-haves • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. • Experience in telephone triage is a plus.
