The Systems Support Specialist role involves providing technical and administrative support across HR information systems and learning systems, ensuring data integrity and a smooth user experience.
Responsibilities
- Support data entry, user account setup, and maintenance in HR systems, including the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Assist in generating standard and custom reports, preparing dashboards, and reviewing data for accuracy and trends
- Provide technical and administrative support for training assignments, completions, and tracking within the LMS
- Help create and distribute training surveys and analyze basic feedback data to support program improvements
- Maintain system documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures in collaboration with senior team members
Skills
- 0-1 years of related experience
- General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with PCs and applicable software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
- Ability to effectively present business information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and others
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
- Ability to sit for extended time periods
- Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
- Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
- Industry certifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
