About Our Company and the Role
As part of the Marcom team, which oversees all advertising and marketing efforts for world-class communications, the Design Team plays a crucial role in defining the look and feel of product imagery through experimentation, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail. We're seeking an exceptional Senior Designer who can bring a strong and diverse skillset to drive success in this role. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with other creatives to develop innovative work that aligns with creative briefs, from ideation to execution.
- Create compelling designs that inspire both current and future Apple customers, driving engagement and success across channels and audiences.
- Provide creative direction and feedback that drives digital creative concepts and answers briefs, leading digital designers, developers, and animators in end-to-end production of digital creative.
- Develop and maintain flexible visual identity systems and create robust guidance that inspires exceptional design work that feels cohesive across all touchpoints.
- Ensure Apple's style guides and advertising best practices are upheld, shaping Apple's presentation of its services to audiences around the world.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems with simple solutions, driving innovative executions.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A strong command of visual and communication design principles, with a strategic center and passion for graphic design, typography, photography, motion, and illustration.
- Experience in developing and executing digital campaigns, with an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across channels and audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create work under minimal supervision and present creative solutions to multiple teams.
- Experience leading a team of cross-disciplinary creatives, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality branded work at the intersection of culture and design.
- A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in delivering strong creative ideas and design systems across digital and social channels.
- 7+ years of relevant design experience, with time spent at top design or advertising agencies.
