Job Overview: We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nodal Officer to join our team at Workwarp, a pioneering company in the gaming universe. As a Nodal Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance, acting as a liaison with law enforcement agencies, and coordinating with internal teams to drive business success. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to gaming laws, cyber laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks in India, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory changes. Operational Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to respond to legal notices, FIRs, and other inquiries from authorities, and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance standards are met. Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, external legal counsel, and consultants to ensure compliance across all functions, and update stakeholders on regulatory changes that impact business operations. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance reports, regulatory filings, and documentation, and prepare reports and presentations for management on compliance risks and mitigation strategies. Requirements: LLB graduate with 2-4 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, or regulatory liaison roles, preferably in the gaming or fintech industry. Strong understanding of gaming laws, cyber laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks in India, as well as data protection and privacy laws. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and internal teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and implement corrective measures, and high level of accuracy and detail orientation for maintaining compliance documentation.
