The Project Finance Assistant role supports financial operations with a focus on Order to Cash activities, contributing to client billing and process improvement in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support process transitions and knowledge transfer across teams, contributing to documentation and scalable practices
- Maintain and update project systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting
- Execute operation activities such as processing revenue funding, update project actuals, and close out projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the Order to Cash process and respond to queries
- Support adherence to SLAs, finance policies, and internal controls including SOX compliance
- Contribute to process enhancements by identifying simplification opportunities and supporting automation initiatives
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Perform other duties as required
Skills
- 1-2 years in finance, accounting, or audit, may include related internships
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial data with a high level of accuracy
- Skilled in Excel, finance systems, and billing tools
- Interest in identifying opportunities for simplification and efficiency
- Build professional, responsive relationships across teams
- Open to change and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
- Oracle and AI Tools experience is a plus
