Key Responsibilities
As a Virtual High School English Teacher with Proximity Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging lesson plans using the school-provided Curriculum Standards and Pacing guide, ensuring that your teaching is aligned with educational goals.
- Delivering live, synchronous instruction to high school students, making learning interactive and fun.
- Grading student work and providing constructive feedback that helps them improve and grow.
- Offering regular feedback to students, guiding them through their educational journey.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- An active U.S. state-issued teaching certification in English Language Arts (ELA).
- Fluency in Spanish, enabling you to support students who are native Spanish speakers or those learning English.
