Key Responsibilities

• File Transfer Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end file transfer process, including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure seamless data transmission.
  • Configure and maintain file transfer protocols and standards to guarantee secure and efficient data transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand file transfer requirements and implement tailored solutions.
• System Monitoring and Performance:
  • Monitor file transfer systems and networks for performance, errors, and potential security breaches, ensuring prompt action when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to file transfer processes, minimizing downtime and optimizing system reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in IT principles and practices.
• Proven experience in managed file transfer or data integration roles, demonstrating your ability to manage complex file transfer processes.
• Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, NDM, and HTTP/S, as well as familiarity with file encryption, decryption, and secure file transfer practices.
• Hands-on experience with MFT tools and software (e.g., IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, Axway, Globalscape, etc.), enabling you to configure and manage file transfer systems effectively.
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and security concepts, allowing you to implement and maintain secure file transfer processes.
• The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to file transfer systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, facilitating effective issue resolution and process optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive collective success.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified File Transfer Professional - CFTP), demonstrating your specialized knowledge and expertise.
