About the Role

In this full-time, remote position, you will work directly with arenaflex members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing exceptional service and building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations, handling customer concerns with empathy and ensuring timely resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
• Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations
• Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution
• Confidentially handle policy owner information and ensure compliance and communication standards are met
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and changes

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
• Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired
• Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred
• Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred
• High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred
• Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience, particularly in a call center environment
• LOMA or other insurance industry certifications
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
