Key Responsibilities:
- Implement approved curricula in the classroom and guide daily activities for preschool children
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement educational objectives and performance standards
- Promote parent involvement in the program and support families in developing observational skills
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the well-being of children and staff
- Assist in recruiting and orienting volunteers, and provide guidance as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to Head Start/Early Head Start children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a National Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate (FCCPC)
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred
