Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving inquiries, and providing support to our members via inbound phone calls. Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries and correspondence via telephone, written communication, and/or in person
• Explain various information concerning our services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, and provider networks
• Answer a diverse and high volume of health insurance-related customer calls and correspondence daily, with a target of 40+ calls per day
• Meet quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines
• Document and record facts regarding inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and systems
• Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of the required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of external Customer Service Experience
• Intermediate skill in the use of office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, scanners, and telephones
• Detailed-oriented, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (with an additional $1 per hour Bilingual Premium)
• Previous experience in the health insurance industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
