Job Summary
The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and commercializing processes for new products and product optimizations. This will involve conducting hands-on bench and pilot scale tests, designing processes to ensure products are reproducible and robust, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and test processes for new beverage and food products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and commercialize processes for new products and product optimizations
- Conduct hands-on bench and pilot scale tests to ensure product quality and consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test processes for new beverage and food products
- Travel as needed (30%) to conduct product/process commissioning and provide manufacturing support for existing processes
- Serve as technical leader on cross-functional project teams and effectively manage technical timelines
- Align with Operations to develop best practices and standards that are consistent across manufacturing facilities
- Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems that arise from processing food and/or beverage products
- Remain abreast of new processing technology and present concepts for application
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with various levels of an organization
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, self-starter able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt well to change
- Advanced PC skills: Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with Microsoft Project or similar software
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in food and beverage processing or a related field
