Job Summary
As a Delivery Driver with AutoZone, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parts to our commercial customers. You'll be responsible for driving a company-provided delivery vehicle, loading and unloading parts, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Provides WOW! Customer Service by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts to commercial customers
- Drives a company-provided delivery vehicle to transport parts to commercial customers, including loading and unloading of parts
- Picks up returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors
- Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Assists do-it-yourself customers in the store between deliveries
- Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code, and management direction, including fleet and safety policies
- Handles cash and charge transactions per company policy
- Maintains product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information resources
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
- Ability to meet AutoZone's driver requirements
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
- Experience with customer service and sales
